Okay more stuff

I recently completed a trip to my favorite summer getaway, the Pacific Northwest. This picture says it all. This isn’t a necessarily profound post, but for someone who exists quite well in hot weather but has lack of greenery during the summer months, doesn’t this picture have much more to say than just my own words?

Good Friends

Okay, so no posts as of late…that’s my own doing and it hurts only me (probably since I’m blogging to myself most likely given that nobody comments here, but…) I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth and one thing that keeps me grounded is the people that I’m surrounded by that put up with my sometimes overexuberant personality.

Those who know me best will know that I’m what’s considered a nice person, but I get really excited about things like serving others and just learning about who people are.

The advent of readily available technology in our everyday lives makes it interesting that we can sometimes capture what to us at the time may seem like just another day, but the one (evening) pictured here was special to me in the fact that I spent it with some really cool people. They are strangers to you, but they are my friends and some of the best people on the planet. (You can never have too many of those)

This is my once-neighbor-but-still-friend, Sarah W. and I in IHOP after attending Phantom of the Opera at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium. We are enjoying a night on the town and food/snacks to boot, and my cell-phone camera came in handy to help me remember it. What more can I say about surrounding yourself with good people? It’s the best medicine for dealing with a sometimes strange and scary world. I love having people to do things with that direct my focus for the better things in life….’nuff said.
